v1.4.0 - coastlines, skill & spell details, weapon masteries
v1.4.0 is now available, and though it's in some respects a "regular" incremental release, there are a number of enhancements that change how the game "feels".
The first of these is coastline generation. Now, the game will generally create coastlines on the fields, forests, etc, that you visit on the world map, based on their position on the world map. In my play throughs, this has helped the world feel a little more real, as opposed to just "a forest map", "a field map", "another field map" with no indication that they're actually part of the wider world.
Next up are weapon masteries. At 100 skill in a particular weapon, you'll now get extra bonuses. The ranged weapons get extra damage, daggers give a chance to sneak attack, swords help you parry and give evade.
Finally, even more text! Skills and spells now have descriptions available by using the appropriate capital letter on their menu. Hopefully you find these helpful and immersive.
